“I have made this record using only a broken Silvertone chord organ that I found in a second-hand shop many years ago. It has been recorded with various microphones to capture the mechanics and hissing and then run through different boxes or changed the pitch by recording it on cassette and out again with an om-1 (ondes magnetique) – but without taking it too far away from the source.”
